Mpumalanga Department of Education: Teaching Vacancies – 2026 Academic Year

The Mpumalanga Department of Education invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for Teaching Posts for the upcoming 2026 Academic Year.

📌 Commencement of Duties: Beginning of Term 2, 2026

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a South African citizen with a valid Grade 12 certificate and a recognized teaching qualification (Diploma or Degree in Education).
Be registered with SACE (South African Council for Educators).
Be between 21 and 45 years of age, with no criminal record.
Preference will be given to unemployed qualified educators and applicants from indigent backgrounds.

Applications are invited from circuits, NYDA offices, and tertiary institutions. Forms will be distributed accordingly.

Appointments will be finalized at Head Office to ensure fair distribution of opportunities and avoid bias.

Applicants must attach the following, or they will not be considered:

Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate/statement of results.
Certified copy of South African ID.
Certified copies of teaching qualification(s) and SACE registration certificate.
Short Curriculum Vitae (CV).
