Clicks is seeking 33 dynamic and dedicated Shop Assistants to join our team in June 2024. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring operational efficiency at the point of sale (POS). This role involves a blend of customer interaction, POS operations, and merchandising, all contributing to a positive shopping experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Job Objectives:

Efficient POS Operations: Execute all operational activities at the point of sale promptly and accurately.
Accuracy in Transactions: Maintain high accuracy levels when scanning merchandise and processing payments, including handling clubcard rewards.
Safe Cash Handling: Ensure the secure handling of cash at all times.
Clubcard Promotion: Actively promote the Clicks clubcard, enrolling new members to meet participation targets.
Promotion Awareness: Inform customers of ongoing promotions to enhance sales and ensure they “feel good and pay less.”
Customer Service Excellence: Act as a brand ambassador, offering visible, friendly, and professional service.
Merchandising and Housekeeping: Maintain merchandising and general housekeeping duties according to store standards.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on products, ranges, promotions, and events to provide accurate information to customers.
Support Company Vision: Align with the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first choice health and beauty retailer, embodying company values.

Knowledge and Skills

Required Knowledge:

Basic mathematics calculations.
Retail/FMCG background with an understanding of merchandising and promotions principles.
Stock management procedures.
Customer service excellence.
